On the northern open-air ground, mostly Asian and smaller manufacturers were present. Undoubtly, Doosan, formerly known as Daewoo, was one of the largest companies in this area. They showed a vast selection of machines from their product range including high-reach demolition machines like the DX300LC and DX420LC, the DX520LC with long-reach boom or the DX340LC front shovel. But also material handler like the DX190W or special solutions like the midi excavtor 75V with tracks and additional road/rail equipment could be seen.

Two more Asian manufacturers were Hyundai and Takeuchi. Hyundai too showcased a large range of products including medium sized tracked excavators like the 360LC as well as the 80 tonnes excavator 800LC-7A.
In contrast, Takeuchi showed their well-known small and midi excavators, for example the biggest one, the TB180FR or a prototype of the battery powered TB125E. This machine is supposed to work for 6–8 hours with on set of lithium ion batteries and be able do the same work as an conventionally powered machine of the same size. The machine is targeted for working sites, where the noise or exhaust fumes of combustion engines are not tolerable.

One of the non-Asian companies wasLaBounty, who presented their scrap shears on their booth, for example the four tonnes weighing MSD 2000R-SL with new “Saber Lube” jaw lubrication system, mounted on a Liebherr A934C or the nine tonnes shear MSD 4500R with 2,300 tonnes of shear force.

Aside from that, various other manufacturers were present on the northern open-air ground, some of which are represented in the following pictures.
