| Description | The M318C is one the current “C” generation of the Caterpillar 300 excavator series. With an operating weight of 18–20 metric tons (40,000–44,000 lb), it roughly equals a Liebherr A 904 in size. The Model features a dozer blade, a two point support and a hydraulically adjustable boom that is now standard equipment for mobile excavators of this size. On one hand, it is step toward more detailed models on the part of NZG, on the other hand it marks an end. Unfortunately, it is one of the last Caterpillar models from NZG before the production of CAT miniatures was stopped altogether. |
