| Description | The Volvo BM L160 was the first wheel loader to receive a type designation according to the new numbering scheme that is still in use today. The Joal model resembles the special compactor version of this machine, where the wheels are replaced by steel drums, making for an operating weight of almost 28 metric tonnes (61,000 lb). |
