| Description | The L 586, as of 2008, is Liebherr’s biggest wheel loader and belongs optically unmistakeably to the new 5x6 series, introduced in 2007. It is equipped with a “2plus2” drive system. This means that the 340 hp diesel engines drives the machine through two hydrostatic drives of different size, located directly on the transfer gear box, thus giving always optimum power. The L 586 has an operating weight of 32 tonnes (68,400 lb). |
