| Description | Like the original machine, the pipe layer 594 is based on the Caterpillar D9 or D9G dozer, which was Caterpillar's largest dozer at that time, featuring a 335 or 385 hp engine respectively. For the service as a pipe layer, the machine didn't get a dozer blade but a sideways facing boom and an adjustable counter weight. |
