| Description | Aside from the 30X series of compact excavators, the 312B L was one of Caterpillar’s smallest excavators. Rather uncommon for a machine of this size, the model comes with a dozing blade which would raise the original machine’s weight to about 31,000 lb (14 tonnes). The excavator is powered by an 90 hp diesel engine. |
