| Description | This version of the Demag H55 was introduced in the late 80s as a successor to earlier machines of the same name. So it was one of the last excavators designed by Demag before their takeover by Komatsu. With an operating weight of about 55 tonnes (120,000 lb), it was well suited for small quarries, heavy earth moving and demolition work in Europe. |
