| Description | On this Joal model of a Caterpillar 375 I replaced the standard gooseneck boom with a high reach demolition boom (Zon kit) for tearing down high buildings. A concrete cutter (also a Zon kit) was mounted on the boom. Zon does supply counterweights, so the heavy model won’t tip over, but unfortunatley, the “hydraulic rams” (taken from the Joal model) aren’t strong enough to support the boom, so the model can’t be displayed in a free, self-supporting position. |
