With an operating weight of 24 tonnes (52.900 lb), the A924 C is —aside from loading machines— Liebherr's biggest wheeled excavator. The reason for this are European road regulations which allow a maximum load of 12 tonnes per axle, enabling the A924 C just to travel on its own on public roads.

The NZG model is equipped with a quick coupler with integrated hydraulic connections and a large tilting bucket.
