| Description | The Liebherr TK8 was the world's first moveable tower crane and is therefore the ancestor of all moden fast-erecting cranes. Hans Liebherr received the patent for this idea on August 19, 1949. At an outreach of 4 m (13 ft), the TK8 has a maximum lifting capability of 1,300 kg (2,800 lb), at 13 m (43 ft) the stroke load is 600 kg (1,300 lb). |
