The W100F is a medium sized cold milling machine by Wirtgen that can be used flexibly. This is, among other things, because of milling drums of variable width and tool density that can be quickly changed with the FCS system. Furthermore, the right-side crawler at the back can be folded and unfolded to both enable flush working at edges and driving outside of the milling track.

The W100F offers a working width up to 100 cm (39.4 in), a working depth of 0–320 mm (0–12.6 in) and a working speed up to 32 m/min (105 ft/min). The machine is powered by a 308 hp engine and weighs around 20 tonnes (44,000 lb), depeding on the actual equipment.
