This model is based on the first version of the Liebherr R 954 BV, but some details were changed: The attachments on the longfront boom can now be changed by means of a quick coupler. Also the undercarriage is now that of the R954 C with metal tracks.
The hydraulic cylinders now have a grey colour, which not true to original: When Liebherr changed to colour on the real machines in 2012/2013, the B series excavators had been discontinued for some years.

The model has been produced in a limited run of 150 pieces.
