The Liebherr R 960 Demolition is, as of 2023, Liebherr's largest longfront demolition excavator built in series. In configuration replicated here with a 33 m (108 ft) longfront boom, the real machine weighs about 90 metric tons (200,000 lb). The excavator is powered by a Liebherr diesel engine with 250 kW (340 hp).

The “base model”in standard Liebherr livery came with a 33 m (108 ft) longfront boom, a backhoe boom 5,50 m (18 ft), storage racks for both booms as well as a small conrete crusher and a sorting grapple for the longfront boom.
