| Description | The Caterpillar 428B was a medium sized backhoe excavator that has been replace by newer models meanwhile. But the B series models were the first to be equipped with a boom in a newer design, resembling the gooseneck form of “normal” excavators instead of the old straight boom and stick.
This model resembles more european features of backhoe loader, i.e. a closed cab, a sideways shiftable backhoe, resulting in perpendicular outriggers. |
