| Description | The BG40 is currently Bauer's second-largest drill rig and is mounted on the BS100 base machine with 580 hp. In total, the mast is about 27 m (91 ft) high. Bymo has made this model with a trench cutter Bauer BC40. The cutter itself is 12.6 m (41 ft) high and weighs 32.5–41 tonnes (71,500–90,000 lb), depending on the width of the trench (80–180 cm/2.6–5.9 ft are possible). The hose guide system HSS allows a maximum cutting depth of 41 m (135 ft) in this configuration. |
